A reading from the
Gospel according to Saint John may his blessings
be with us. Amen.

John 1:44-52

يو ١: ٤٤-٥٢

On the following
day, he would go forth into Galilee, and he
findeth Philip. And Jesus saith to him: Follow
me.

وللغد اراد ان يخرج
الى الجليل فوجد فيلبس وقال له يسوع اتبعني.

Now Philip was of
Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip
findeth Nathanael, and saith to him: We have
found him of whom Moses in the law, and the
prophets did write, Jesus the son of Joseph of
Nazareth.

وفيلبس كان من بيت
صيدا من مدينة اندراوس وبطرس. وفيلبس وجد نثنائيل
وقل له الذي كتب موسى من اجله في الناموس
والانبياء وجدناه وهو يسوع ابن يوسف الذي من
الناصرة.

And Nathanael said
to him: Can any thing of good come from
Nazareth? Philip saith to him: Come and see.
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him: and he saith
of him: Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom
there is no guile.

فقال له نثنائيل هل
يمكن من الناصرة شيء فيه صلاح. فقال له فيلبس تعال
وانظر. فلما رأى يسوع نثنائيل مقبلاً اليه، قال
لاجله هذا حقاً اسرائيلي لا غش فيه.

Nathanael saith to
him: Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered, and
said to him: Before that Philip called thee,
when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
Nathanael answered him, and said: Rabbi, thou
art the Son of God, thou art the King of Israel.

فقال له نثنائيل من
اين تعرفني. اجاب يسوع وقال له قبل ان يدعوك فيلبس
وانت تحت شجرة التين رأيتك. فاجاب نثنائيل وقال يا
معلم انت هو ابن الله. انت هو ملك اسرائيل.

Jesus answered,
and said to him: Because I said unto thee, I saw
thee under the fig tree, thou believest: greater
things than these shalt thou see.

اجاب يسوع وقال له:
لما قلت لك انني رأيتك تحت شجرة التين آمنت سوف
تعاين اعظم من هذا.

And he saith to
him: Amen, amen I say to you, you shall see the
heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending
and descending upon the Son of man.

وقال له الحق الحق
اقول لكم انكم تنظرون السماء مفتوحة وملائكة الله
يصعدون وينزلون على ابن البشر.
