قال يسوع:
سمعتم انه قيل عين بعين وسن بسن. وأما أنا فأقول لكم لا تقاوموا الشر.بل من لطمك على خدك الأيمن فحوّل له الآخر أيضا. ومن أراد أن يخاصمك ويأخذ ثوبك فاترك له الرداء أيضا. ومن سخرك ميلا واحدا فاذهب معه اثنين. من سألك فأعطه.ومن اراد ان يقترض منك فلا ترده.
Jesus Said:
You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.
Jésus dit:
Vous avez appris qu’il a été dit: oeil pour oeil, et dent pour dent. Mais moi, je vous dis de ne pas résister au méchant. Si quelqu’un te frappe sur la joue droite, présente-lui aussi l’autre. Si quelqu’un veut plaider contre toi, et prendre ta tunique, laisse-lui encore ton manteau. Si quelqu’un te force à faire un mille, fais-en deux avec lui. Donne à celui qui te demande, et ne te détourne pas de celui qui veut emprunter de toi.
The people in the world- and sorry to say some believers- still uses the sentence “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” and they add to it “who started it is the oppressor.” The world that we are living in is filled with wars, personal and worldly, emotion or physical war. For the normal person always want to have revenge from everyone who do evil to him so he will not appear weak and people use this weakness.
And here, LORD Jesus Christ the God of love and peace is telling you do not fight evil with evil and be generous to your enemies and love them till death and do not refuse anything they ask from you and if they want to take from you give it them and more. For He Himself did the unexpected. He was healing the sick, rise the dead and deliver from the bondage of the devil and most of them did not follow Him or even talked about His favor and some of them screamed “Crucify Him”, but He did know these things from the beginning and He didn’t hesitate to do good with evil men before the righteous, even He used to sit and eat with publicans and sinners while talking about the kingdom of heaven.
And we believers of these days, what are we doing? Are we just setting in our churches with believers like us and forgetting the outside world? Or do we love from all our hearts all who talks about you )all who fight us)? All who want to kill us? It is time to walk on our master’s steps. To be near who hate us, and helping evildoers by showing them the love of Jesus Christ.
لا زال عند الناس في العالم -وللأسف عند بعض المؤمنين أيضاً- جملة “عين بعين وسن بسن” ويضيفوا لها والبادئ أظلم. فالعالم الذي نعيش فيه ملآن بالحروب منها الشخصية و منها العالمية، إن كانت نفسية أم جسدية حربية، فالإنسان العادي يريد أن ينتقم دائماً لكل من يفعل به شر كي لا يظهر بمظهر الضعيف ويبدأ الناس باستغلال ضعفه.
وهنا، رب المجد يسوع المسيح إله المحبة والسلام يقول لك لا تقاوم الشر بالشر وكن محسناً مع أعدائك وأحبهم حتى الموت ولا تبخل عليهم بشيء وإن أرادوا أن يأخذوا منك فأعطهم زيادة. فهو نفسه فعل الغير معقول. فقد كان يشفي المرضى ويقيم الموتى ويحرر المتسلط عليهم إبليس ومعظمهم لم يتبعوه أو يذكروا فضله ومنهم من صرخ أصلبه، وهو كان مدرك هذا منذ البدء ولكنه لم يتأخر من أن يصنع خيراً مع الأشرار قبل الصالحين وكان يجلس ويأكل مع الزواني والعشارين يحدثهم عن ملكوت السموات.
ونحن المؤمنين في هذه الأيام، ماذا نفعل؟ هل نجلس في كنائسنا ومع مؤمنين مثلنا وننسى أمر العالم الخارجي؟ أم هل نحب من كل القلب كل من يتكلم علينا ( كل من يحاربنا)؟ كل من يريد قتلنا؟حان الوقت أن نتبع خطى سيدنا. أن نكون قريبين لمبغضينا ونساعد المسيئين إلينا ونريهم محبة يسوع المسيح.
Holy Spirit of God, Fill us with the love of Jesus Christ the maker of peace. To go and seek reconciliation and peace with our enemies. Not because we are week but because of the power that is in us which condemns the world. Forgive them their trespasses against us and against You, and we ask mercy over their lives. In the name of Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior. Amen.
روح الله القدوس، املأنا بمحبة يسوع المسيح صانع السلام. لنذهب ونسعى إلى الصلح والسلام مع أعدائنا، ليس لأننا ضعفاء بل بسبب القوة التي فينا التي تدين العالم. نغفر لهم زلاتهم تجاهنا وتجاهك ونطلب الرحمة على حياتهم. بإسم يسوع المسيح ربنا ومخلصنا. آمين.
