118- Climbing the
mountain again

الجبل مرة أخرى

Then I saw a skull of one of the animals, and
felt that I was about to get lost totally, so I headed back to the way up
the mountain, and found the right way after 45 minutes.. I got on top of
the mountain, and started walking in the opposite direction of the other way
I went to on the day before, and saw crows in big groups.. The view of the
Monastery was gorgeous from the top, and I wished I did get to that spot on
the day of the festival, to show the real number of the people gathered
around the Monastery from the four sides on that day.. They were hundreds
of thousands if not even more than a million.. In busses, cars, microbuses,
and people of foot all the way for more than four kilometers, spreading all
the way.. Then I headed further and found the spot of the Cave of Saint
Taklehaimanot from the top..

ثم رأيت جمجمة أحد الحيوانات، ووجدت
نفسي أيضاً على وشك فقد الطريق تماماً، فعدت أدراجي إلى طريق صعود الجبل، ووجدت
الطريق بعد حوالي 45 دقيقة.. فصعدت فوق الجبل وبدأت أمشي في الطريق المعاكس
للطريق الذي ذهبت منه أمس الأول، ورأيت الغربان تطير في جماعات كبيرة.. وكان
منظر الدير رائع من فوق الجبل، وتمنيت لو كنت ذهبت إلى نفس النقطة في
يوم
الاحتفال، ليظهر عدد الناس الحقيقي المجتمعون حول الدير من أركانه الأربعة في
ذلك اليوم.. والذي كان مئات الآلاف بدون مبالغة إن لم يكن أكثر من مليون
شخص.. في أتوبيسات وعربات وميكروباصات وأشخاص يسيرون على مدى أكثر من أربعة
كيلومترات يفترشون الطريق.. ثم مشيت أكثر، ونظرت للأسفل ووجدت مغارة القديس
تكلاهيمانوت في الأسفل..
