After that I went to
the museum of the Monastery, which is nothing but a storeroom for monuments
(in all those Monasteries).. We also hope that these priceless pieces be
put in a way to preserve them from evanescence, and preserve their dignity
from just being in storage..!

بعد هذا ذهبت
للمتحف الخاص بالدير، وهو للأسف أشبه بخزانة للقطع الأثرية، في كل هذه
الأديرة.. نتمنى أيضاً أن يتم وضع هذه القطع التي لا تُقدَّر بمال بطريقة
تحفظها من الفناء، وتحفظ لها كرامتها من مجرد التخزين..!

At the museum there are
some icons from previously ruined Churches, some crowns of Ethiopian kings,
some manuscripts.. Few for display as an example, but the rest are at the
manuscripts-storeroom in the Monastery..

يوجد بالمتحف
بعض الصور من كنائس قديمة تم هدمها، وكذلك بعض تيجان المُلك الخاصة ببعض الملوك
الأحباش، وبعض المخطوطات الأثرية.. وهي قليلة للعرض كنماذج، بخلاف خزانة
المخطوطات الأصلية بالدير..
